GFRC is a specific type of material that require a specific GFRC equipment to mix and cast properly.
GFRC is a sensitive to the mix consistency and requires viscosity, flowability and workability. The basic mix that Domcrete provides has been proportioned to make it easy for the users to crete a flowable mix design whilst still using a low water-cement ratio to develop strong concrete.
The basic processes used to fabricate GFRC are separated into two different categories – the spray-up process and the premix process. The spray-up process is generally used as the GFRC skin that can be applied on steel frames. Due to it’s extreme flexibility in both function and design, it can also be used in applications not requiring a frame and is usually produced during the premix processes. These types of applications include countertops, tables, wall panels, décor items and restoration.
In order to undertake these processes the right equipment is required. At Domcrete, we supply a range of different equipment pieces in order to undertake what you need efficiently and effectively. Some of these equipment items include:
- Concrete Vibrators
- Concrete Mixers
- Concrete Scales
